Dave Alves, CPA,
Senior Tax director, is experienced with tax issues significant to young emerging business entities through more mature corporations, as well as individual tax planning, compensation planning, and stock option taxation and planning. Using thoughtful planning strategies and astute audit representation, he has discovered tax savings or reduced the threat of increased tax liability of corporations. During his career, he has worked on a wide variety of issues that influence technology companies such as global expansion, mergers and acquisitions, tax audits, accounting for income taxes, research and development credit, stock option and executive tax planning, as well as sales and property tax matters. He enjoys building relationships with his clients and providing them with a variety of services.

Dave brings nearly 25 years of combined experience in tax and accounting, including over 12 years of public accounting (4 years with the national firm Arthur Andersen & Co.) and 12 years of industry expertise focusing on high technology start-ups as well as publicly traded corporations.
