Monica is the Principal and Founder of Monica Bailey & Associates, Certified Public Accountants. Her career of more than 32 years has been focused on providing sound advice and outstanding client service, by listening to the client and gathering all of the facts. She has educated her clients in order to help them understand the issues that impact their finances and their businesses, empowering them in their decision making process.
Monica has been an invaluable resource to clients on many tax, accounting, and life changing issues. Experienced in complex tax and accounting issues, she has provided legitimate solutions that have saved her clients in the 10’s of millions of dollars of their hard-earned money. - Began accounting career in 1977, holding positions as a Controller and an interim CFO in the insurance, retail, and electronics manufacturing industries;

- Founded original tax firm in 1991, which today is Monica Bailey & Associates, Certified Public Accountants, a full-service CPA firm;
- Successfully represented clients before the taxing authorities on numerous tax issues

- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Sonoma State University
- Continuing Professional Education in tax, accounting, and other emerging issues in the Public Accounting field

Monica speaks frequently at seminars, for professional organizations, for businesses and their employees, as well as other professional advisors. She has also addressed accounting and tax issues, retirement strategies, real estate investment, employee stock options, estates and trusts tax and accounting, entrepreneurial tax and accounting, and succession planning.
